Five Chula Vista Best Shopper finalists were selected from city residents who submitted essays on “Why I’m Chula Vista’s Best Shopper. The five finalists are Brittany Aguon, Kathy Lund, Patrick Miller, Laurie Russell ,and Alexis Ybarra.
The public is invited to watch the four women and one man compete in the finals on March 11 starting at 11 a.m. at Terra Nova Plaza, located at 394 E H Street in Chula Vista. Each finalist gets $500 to shop for the same assignments from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
A judges panel will review the finalists purchases to select Chula Vista’s Best Shopper, who will receive $1,000 in gift cards from Terra Nova Plaza merchants. The shopping contest winner will be crowned at 3 p.m.
